Platypus fishing lines appointed Sole Australian distributor for Ardent Reels & Reel Care products
Platypus is proud to announce they have been appointed sole distributor for Ardent Outdoors in Australia. For the first time an entire cleaning system is available to allow anglers to service any type or brand of reel. If you are anything like the guys from Platypus you’ll probably have several reels, making these kits great value containing everything required for easy, regular cleaning of any make or model fishing reel. All contained in a convenient, easy-to-store, durable plastic case.
The freshwater kits contains, 1 x Reel Kleen® Cleaner, 1 x Reel Butter® Oil, 1 x Reel Butter® Grease, 1 x cleaning brush, 1 x reversible screw driver with flat and Philips heads, 1 x cloth and 4 x Synthetic foam swabs. These synthetic foam-tipped swabs are specially designed to not leave cotton or other fibers in the reel.
The Saltwater Kit contains everything the Reel Kleen® Reel Cleaning Kit contains with the addition of Ardent Reel Guard® Corrosion Inhibitor.
Reel Butter® Oil is a high-performance synthetic oil developed by Ardent specifically for fishing reel components. Ardent Reel Butter® Oil is a 100% Full Synthetic product with specially engineered additives to provide superior, long-lasting lubrication for any model fishing reel.
