Platypus releases premium freshwater line: Super-100™ brown
For too long, anglers have waited for a premium line for freshwater situations. Platypus Super-100™ brown is the only specifically designed premium freshwater line available in Australia . The brown tint was specially selected to offer maximum invisibility in fresh or brackish water environments.
Platypus Super-100™ is for those anglers who appreciate an extremely fine diameter line with the strength they have come to depend on from Platypus. Platypus Super-100™ is ideal for finesse fishing situations when a light line is needed for improved lure depth or bait presentation, but increased line strength is required for landing that impressive fish.
Technically, Platypus Super-100™ can only be created utilising cutting edge polymer construction and advanced manufacturing processes and finishes. Super-100™ is manufactured using our special mix of polyamide co-polymers to ensure maximum strength and toughness. Super-100™ has been crafted using a new advanced process, allowing an outer skin to be toughened while the core remains supple and flexible. Lastly an innovative secondary coating is applied to the line for added abrasion resistance.
Super-100™ is available in 300m or 500m spools from 4 lb to 30 lb in crystal clear and new brown tint.
